Connections to the Historic Centre

The historic centre of Perugia is well connected to the surrounding areas via:

– Elevated metro (MiniMetrò). The timetable and route of the minimetro can be found at the following link: https://www.minimetrospa.it/orari/

– Trains. To view and book train tickets please refer to this link: https://www.trenitalia.com/it.html. The fastest way to reach the historic centre from the main train station (Fontivegge) is via the MiniMetrò, with departures from Fontivegge and arrival at Pincetto.

– Buses. To view bus lines and timetables please refer to this link: https://www.fsbusitalia.it/it/umbria/orari-linee-umbria.html. From the bus station in Piazza Partigiani, the historic centre can be reached by passing through the Rocca Paolina, an impressive underground fortress, using the escalators that lead directly into the heart of the old town.

From the Stations to the Conference Venue

From the train station, the Conference Venue can be reached by taking bus line C (travel time: approximately 15 minutes).
From the bus station in Piazza Partigiani, you can reach the venue using bus line E or K.
Get off at Porta Conca, near the Faculty of Law of the University of Perugia, then walk through the Rectorate Gardens to reach the venue (approximately 20 minutes in total).

From Perugia Airport to the City Centre or Train Station

Connections from Perugia San Francesco d’Assisi Airport to the city centre or train station are provided by the AirLink service, operated by BusItalia.

The main conference venues are located just outside the historic centre and can be easily reached on foot.
A short and pleasant walk through Perugia’s picturesque streets leads directly to the University area, offering a glimpse of the city’s timeless charm and centuries of history along the way.
