Publishing Ethics

Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

1. Publication and Authorship
Authors of all papers published in the Proceedings of EVACES 2027 are responsible for presenting original scientific and technical work, excluding any form of plagiarism or the use of fraudulent data. At the end of each paper, authors are encouraged to include a complete list of references, citing relevant works from other research groups, as well as acknowledging the funding sources that supported the research.

2. Authors’ Responsibilities
All submissions to EVACES 2027 will undergo a peer-review process conducted by members of the International Scientific Committee and (Co-)Organizers of Special Sessions. The review will consider aspects such as relevance to the field, clarity of objectives and methodology, innovation, and language quality. The review process consists of two phases: (1) after abstract submission and (2) after full paper submission. All authors and co-authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and are required to use only real and authentic data. They are also obliged to provide retractions or corrections if requested by the reviewers.

3. Peer Review / Reviewers’ Responsibilities
Reviewers must have no conflict of interest with respect to the research, authors, or funding sources. Their evaluations should be objective, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses of the work, and suggesting relevant published literature not yet cited. All reviewed manuscripts will be treated confidentially.

4. Editorial Responsibilities
The Chair of the Organizing Committee of EVACES 2027 holds the primary editorial responsibility and has full authority to accept or reject papers based on reviewers’ comments and suggestions, ensuring the absence of any conflict of interest. Editors are responsible for accepting papers only when reasonably certain of their quality, promoting corrections or retractions when necessary, and preserving reviewer anonymity.

5. Publishing Ethics Issues
Editors are committed to upholding publishing ethics and will publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies when appropriate. Papers primarily reflecting commercial interests will not be accepted. All authors agree to make their papers freely available on the conference website after the event. If authors wish to withdraw their paper, they must notify the Chair of the Organizing Committee no later than 2 July 2026.
